Demo policy for a no-PHI static marketing website. Effective August 31, 2026.
Scope
This fictional policy describes the public Cedar Point Family Health demo website. It is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and is not legal advice.
Information this demo collects
The site has no contact form, patient portal, analytics, advertising pixels, cookies, chat, account system, or embedded map. Ordinary web hosting may process technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp for security and delivery.
Appointments and health information
Booking buttons open a placeholder external domain. Do not enter real information there. A production clinic should use a contracted, HIPAA-appropriate vendor and publish that vendor’s applicable privacy terms. Do not send symptoms, diagnoses, insurance information, records, or prescription requests through the marketing website.
Retention and sharing
This demo does not intentionally retain visitor-submitted data because it accepts none. A production host may retain security logs for a limited operational period and disclose them when required by law or to protect systems.
Children
This public informational site is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes and contact
A real practice must update this policy when its technology or practices change. For this fictional demo, call (555) 014-2700 with website privacy questions. Do not include medical information.
